Paramedics Ready to Save Lives

 

The Atlantic Paramedic Academy will present diplomas to graduates on Friday, November 20, 2009 in a ceremony to be held at la Cité des Jeunes A. M. Sormany, located at 300 rue Martin, Edmundston, NB commencing at 7:00 pm.


Students graduating from the Academy have gained the training and experience that will enable them to handle any emergency situation.  Paramedic training programs at the APA are accredited by the Canadian Medical Association.


Guest of Honour will be Pierre Verret, Director General of the Edmundston Regional Hospital, as of September 2008. 


Other speakers include Alan Stephen, CEO of Ambulance New Brunswick; Donat Paulin, Treasurer of the Paramedic Association of New Brunswick, and Yvon Bourque, Regional Manager East for Ambulance New Brunswick.
