March 30, 2009, Moncton - (Dartmouth) – The government of Nova Scotia announced on March 24th that Emergency Medical Care, Inc. (EMC), in partnership with McKesson Canada, will assist in delivering Telecare services throughout the province. EMC, an operating company within the Medavie EMS Group of Companies, manages the ground and air ambulance service in the province of Nova Scotia.

The Honourable Karen Casey, Minister of Health and George McLellan, CEO of Medavie EMS (parent company of Emergency Medical Care Inc.) sign a new contract for the provision of air and ground ambulance services in Nova Scotia.
